This elective course orients towards college-bound students who plan to take humanities classes in college. Students study literature and cultural connections from a world perspective, beginning with the earliest epic of man. The class studies epics, ballads, poetry, and drama. Activities include reading, writing, discussing, and analyzing of literature. Students must read and report on two novels by foreign authors from a list of recommended books for college-bound students.
